      Halloween products are creeping ever slowly into stores. Fall is around the corner. Hershey this year has glow in the dark packaging to give that little extra oomph over the competition. Your little ghoulies will have fun with the selected Hershey products that will glow in the dark.

      Muncho Monster

        C is not only for cookies. C is also for chips. Did you know that Jim Henson was hired to do the first Munchos potato chips commercials? He created Arnold the Muncho Monster that predates Cookie Monster on Sesame Street. Maybe Arnold did not love Munchos that much, so he later developed a sweet tooth for cookies.

        Poutine in a Pitcher

          While a picture is worth a thousand words, this pitcher is worth $22.00. Forget the beer, the cook decided to fill up the pitcher with poutine. Montreal restaurant, Medley Simple Malt, serves up this gut-stuffing decadent meal. I hope they have a long fork to reach down to get the remaining cheese curds. My stomach says yes, but my eyes are reluctant.

            Master Milkshakes is a retro milkshake syrup company that brings back the innocence of a simpler time. The New Zealand company brews nostalgia for every unsuspecting mouth that craves something unique. Master Milkshakes were created in 2014 by Matt Fitzgerald.

                Funko the makers of those cute bobblehead figurines are now making cereal. It’s funny, their customer base millennials do not gravitate to cereal as a breakfast choice.
                Millennials surveyed say that cereal was an inconvenient breakfast choice because they had to clean up after eating it.

                Taiyaki: Japanese fish-shaped cake

                  These delightful faux fish are made from pancake batter and sandwiched together with sweetened azuki beans or custard. The Japanese treat is known as Taiyaki, it is just a waffle in the shape of a fish with custom filling.

                    Double your pleasure with Panera’s double bowl. I know it’s a bread with two holes. Nothing to get excited about. Now you can fill your bread bowl with soups and mac & cheese. The only problem, the double bowl in only available in the test market of Philadelphia between August 5 and August 31.

                      The best finger foods just got married. Meet Mr. and Mrs. Churro Bugles! Everybody is on the churro bandwagon lately. The corn chips are covered in both salt and sugar. A full-blown cinnamon sugar coating would do better justice to this great idea. It leaves a bitter taste for me, churros should not be sweet and salty. This is just a pretentious Bugle masquerading as a churro. Please get the divorce papers, this union will not last.

                          McSpaghetti still thrives in the Philipines. The sweet ketchup spaghetti sauce has always been a Filipino favorite since the 40’s. So it’s not a surprise that McDonald’s still carries the failed dish that did not catch on globally.

                            McDonald’s UK is switching to paper straws. Is North America not that far behind? The environment is cluttered by straws that end up hurting wildlife. It is the responsible thing to do.
