    A few months ago Coca-Cola released five somewhat new Diet-Coke flavors in slender silver cans to attract the taste buds of Millennials. Pepsi’s marketing department figures what is good for the goose is good for the gander. So now Pepsi is releasing their version of skinny silver cans with non-original flavors. Slick!

      Move over Mr. Clean, here are 7 things you can clean with Coca-Cola. Now just imagine if it can do these things around the house. What does it do to your stomach?
      Clean the toilet bowl.
      Remove grease stains from clothing.
      Remove baked-on grease from pots and pans.
      Remove corrosion from car battery terminals.
      Restore shine to coins and jewelry.
      Strip rust from nuts, bolts, and tools.
      Remove bugs from a dirty windshield.

      The last straw: Taiwan plans to ban straws

        Taiwan is home to some of the coolest drinks such as fresh fruit juices, soy milk, and smoothies. However, they are having a problem with plastic straws. The straws end up in the waterways, wildlife and mix with Taiwan’s food supply. The country’s most popular export is boba or bubble tea and without a straw, it renders the novelty useless. You need a straw to drink boba. Taiwan plans to have plastic straws and cups banned by 2030. Plastic straws are now outlawed in parts of Florida. Calfornia wants to take the ban statewide. The eyes of the world are looking for a biodegradable-straw solution.

        Pickle obsession: Sonic going sour with a new pickle-flavored slush

          Pickle juice is a thing now. Before you knock it you should try it out. Sonic is releasing a new pickle-flavored slush onto the unsuspecting masses.
          “Quite simply, pickle juice is fun,” Scott Uehlein, Sonic’s vice president of product innovation and development thinks you will try the new flavor in his 3,500 stores nationwide. They better or he will be in a pretty pickle. The drinks roll out in June.

          Definition of Arnold Palmer: A cold beverage of iced tea mixed with lemonade

            Arnold Palmer according to Merriam-Webster.com is the ice tea and lemonade beverage combination. The first use of the term was coined in 1991. Arnold Palmer created the combo drink in the sixties and years later asked a waitress in Palm Springs to mix ice tea and lemonade and bring it to him. The savvy waitress associated the name with the drink and the Arnold Palmer drink gained popularity and now is in the dictionary.

            Limited run: Johnnie Walker whisky puts Jane Walker on Black Label

              Move over Johnnie and let Jane take over. Black Label is releasing a limited run of Jane Walker whiskey bottles. This the first time a female version of the Johnnie Walker brand has been replaced. Will more women gravitate to the whiskey maker with the makeover?
              This in not the first time a company has replaced an iconic character to please the female buyer. This is just a temporary change to the “striding man” logo to lure women into the fold. The release coincides with Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, which is on March 8. Will women stop or will they keep walking?
