Pure Leaf Sweet Tea Releases New Zero Sugar Option

    PepsiCo has recently unveiled an enticing addition to its lineup tailored specifically for aficionados of Pure Leaf Sweet Tea: the all-new Zero Sugar variant. Now, those who relish the refreshing taste of this beverage but seek a sugar-free alternative can rejoice, as it’s finally within reach. Notably, the company is embarking on an extensive promotional campaign over the coming month to spread the word far and wide.

    According to Circana, a market research firm headquartered in Chicago, Pure Leaf ranks as the second highest-selling brand within the $4.6 billion canned and bottled tea sector. This month, the all-new Zero Sugar tea hitting store shelves is sweetened with a blend that comprises sucralose and acesulfame potassium.

    “This was a key one that we’ve been looking at for some time. We are looking to attract new people into our brand who may be interested in zero sugar or wanting something with zero calories,” Raheja-Perera said. “Now, we have that proposition which we’ve never had.”

    As part of these promotional efforts, PepsiCo has crafted an engaging trailer, starring the talented Emily Alyn Lind and Celeste O’Connor, which offers a glimpse into the allure of this latest addition.

To help bust the myth that Pure Leaf Zero Sugar Sweet Tea can’t be sweet and delicious without sugar, Pure Leaf today unveiled its “Unbelievably Sweet Files” campaign, which includes:

    • A video starring Emily and Celeste, in which they uncover the truth of the new Zero Sugar Sweet Tea.
    • A national promotion, calling on fans to submit their out-of-this-world accounts on The most unbelievable stories will be chosen, and winners will receive a Pure Leaf Zero Sugar Prize Pack, including the new Zero Sugar Sweet Tea and a selection of holographic stickers. Submissions will be open until April 26th.
    • A multi-city tour kicking off next week, in three of America’s historically mystifying cities – New Orleans (April 3)Boston (April 5), and Chicago (April 7). Consumers can “sip it to believe it” with complimentary Pure Leaf Zero Sugar Sweet Tea tastings at each stop.
