In 1968, Miles Laboratory owners of the One-a-Day label, paired up with Hanna-Barbera and created the iconic Flintstones Vitamins. Since its inception, Betty Rubble was not included as a chewable vitamin. There was a campaign in the 90s to include her as a vitamin for Flintstones Vitamins. In 1995, Betty replaced the Flintstone’s car shape.
Betty Rubble: Sometimes I just don’t know what’s the matter with men.
Barney Rubble: That’s easy – you women!
Fun Fact: There is a group called, Betty’s Not a Vitamin to commemorate the absence of the overlooked Flintstones character.
