Samsung’s new Bespoke AI oven streams food while cooking

Samsung has now a camera inside their new Bespoke AI ovens. Oh, and Livestream your food. I’ve been wanting to try my French spinach soufflé recipe for some time. It can also recommend what temperature you should cook your food at, and for how long. I am having enough trouble with Alexa shutting off or lowering the volume. Now Samsung wants me to film my kitchen disasters live.

TikTok and Instagram chefs are sure to be excited about this added feature. The kitchen just became a more interesting place to hang out from. If only my Samsung microwave could stop asking me to change my filter. I am a risk taker, my recipes require lots of trial and error. I do not need an oven to dictate to me that my recipe is wrong. I get that from the wife and Alexa already.

The Bespoke AI Oven makes meal prep a breeze, combining powerful intelligence with innovative cooking technologies to produce delicious meals that cater to users’ dietary preferences.

Samsung’s oven has a database of over 100 dishes and ingredients so far, and there’s a 7-inch touch screen to tweak things. According to Samsung, the Bespoke AI oven has several modes, including air fryer, steam cooking, two temperature zones and also “air sous vide”. Air sous vide maintains the constant temperature and vacuum-sealed bag, but replaces the water with air.

AI Pro Cooking optimizes cooking settings while monitoring food. If the oven is set to cook a recognized dish using the cooking mode, temperature and time the oven recommends, the AI Pro Cooking system will even send users food warning notifications to prevent burning. Using an internal camera and powerful AI, the oven’s Sense Inside feature – the first food recognition and burn detection AI algorithm of its kind to receive an AI cooking appliance verification by UL Solutions – can recommend cooking settings by recognizing 80 different dishes and ingredients

Whether users are testing a healthy recipe or looking to elevate everyday recipes at home, the Bespoke AI Oven makes mealtimes more convenient. Integration with SmartThings Cooking and Samsung Health allows the Bespoke AI Oven to analyze users’ workout stats and diet goals to recommend meal options based on the ingredients they have at home.

Topping off the Bespoke AI Oven’s modern, clutter-free design is its convenient Push to Open Door, which replaces a traditional handle for a simpler and more streamlined look. Available in five elegant and modern design options, the Bespoke AI Oven is currently available in Europe and will launch in North America in the third quarter of 2023.
