KFC Nuggets are coming in March for good

Popcorn chicken will be a thing of the past at KFC. March madness ushers in the new KFC Nuggets. Chicken nuggets cater to the younger demographics in the restaurant business. The nuggets were tested last summer and it won out to popcorn chicken. The transition phase will take full force in March. I am surprised that KFC came this late to the chicken nugget offering in their restaurants in 2022. Mcdonald’s and other restaurants have had this option for many years.

Made with 100 percent white meat and hand-breaded with KFC’s unique Original Recipe of 11 Herbs and Spices that made the fried chicken chain famous, the Kentucky Fried Chicken Nuggets can be enjoyed as a snack, meal on-the-go, complement to the bucket meal, or even as an appetizer on the way home!

Fun Fact: Popcorn chicken was invented by food technologist Gene Gagliardi, who also invented Steak-umm. It was test-marketed in the United States in March 1992 and was launched nationwide by September of that year.
