In celebration of National Hot Sauce Day, you’ll be smothering with MTN DEW Baja Blast Hot Sauce. The only way you can get your hands on one is to enter a contest on the company’s website.
Mountain Dew teamed up with Houston-based sauce shop “I-Burn” to create a Baja Blast hot sauce. The sauce takes the soda’s fruity, tropical flavor and adds a blast of heat from habanero and jalapeño peppers, as well as green chiles.
Fun Fact: Ancient Aztecs were reportedly the first to use jalapenos, but they dried and smoked the peppers rather than eating them.
