Mars Wrigley has collaborated with French’s to create an unprecedented skittle flavor that tastes like mustard. Mars Wrigley and McCormick have come together to mark the occasion with an exciting and unconventional treat – Mustard Skittles to celebrate National Mustard Day on August 5. To the delight of mustard fans, these unique Skittles will be offered as part of a giveaway, and you can find them exclusively on frenchs.com/mustardskittles.
“From Mustard Ice Cream to last year’s viral Mustard Donuts, this year marks the fifth time French’s has gone all out with unique, flavorful innovations to celebrate National Mustard Day. With the yellow holiday landing on August 5th, we knew we had to outdo ourselves,” Valda Coryat, North America Vice President of Marketing for McCormick & Company, said in a news release. “We are thrilled to collaborate with Skittles to deliver our beloved classic yellow mustard tang in a new, fun way to French’s and Skittles fans alike.”
The celebration doesn’t stop there! French’s, the famous mustard brand, will make the Mustard Skittles even more accessible by distributing them in person at three prominent locations: Atlanta, NYC, and Washington DC. This means that lucky visitors in those cities will get a chance to taste this intriguing fusion of mustard and candy.
While this collaborative celebration between Mars Wrigley, McCormick, and French’s promises to be a delectable and one-of-a-kind experience, there’s a hint of disappointment for some, particularly for residents of Middleton, WI. Being the proud home of the renowned Mustard Museum, they might have hoped for a special visit or event in their town. Nevertheless, for those interested in getting their hands on these Mustard Skittles and exploring the delightful blend of flavors.
