Pepsi is giving cola a festive twist with a gingerbread flavour that brings a little Christmas cookie magic to the soda fountain. Think classic Pepsi with ginger, cinnamon and warm vanilla notes. It sounds like Santa has been experimenting with the soft drink machine, but the combination might be more tempting than it first appears.
In Canada, Pepsi Gingerbread has appeared in both regular and Zero Sugar versions. Retailers have listed multipacks of both varieties, along with individual bottles of the regular flavour. The seasonal packaging makes it stand out on store shelves, but the real attraction is what is inside. If you enjoy gingerbread, cola and trying unusual flavour combinations, this is one worth keeping an eye out for.
The gingerbread idea has also made its way to the UK, where Pepsi Zero Sugar Gingerbread has been offered as a seasonal drink. The flavour combines ginger, cinnamon and vanilla, giving the familiar cola a distinctly festive personality. Carlsberg Britvic has reported that the flavour generated additional volume sales for the wider Pepsi range during a previous seasonal run, based on Kantar data from late 2025.
It is another example of how familiar brands turn to limited-edition flavours to give shoppers something unexpected. Gingerbread is usually associated with cookies, cakes and holiday treats, so putting those warm spices into cola is an unusual way to bring a little seasonal spirit to the drinks aisle.
I suppose the real question is whether gingerbread belongs in a cola. The combination sounds curious, but that is part of the appeal. I’m still curious enough to give it a try. If it tastes like a gingerbread cookie taking a dip in a glass of Pepsi, Santa might have found another reason to raid the refrigerator.
