Wendy’s debuts the new Strawberry Frosty

Wendy’s Strawberry Frosty can only be found at Walmart. Wendy’s opened a burger stand in an Ohio Walmart.

“We’re always listening to our fans, and as the most-requested item, it was a no-brainer for us to bring the Strawberry Frosty to the menu this season,” Wendy’s exec Carl Loredo said in a release.

“There are big opportunities for Wendy’s to reach consumers where they live, work, and play, and that includes non-traditional venues where we have captive market audiences like airports, universities, and retail environments, like Walmart,” Wendy’s spokesperson told Business Insider.

• Walmart has partnered with Domino’s and Taco Bell to open in-store locations.

While hundreds of McDonald’s restaurants inside Walmart stores closed over the last several years, Walmart has slowly added Domino’s and Taco Bell locations. There are also plans for an even smaller Wendy’s Snack Shop in another Walmart in Ohio.
