OluKai x SPAM Sandals Are Real And Glorious

This might be one of the most unexpected collabs of the year, and honestly, it kind of works.

OluKai is teaming up with SPAM for a limited-edition drop that leans all the way into Hawaiian comfort food culture. If you’ve ever spent time in Hawaii, you already know SPAM isn’t just food, it’s practically a lifestyle.

Dropping Monday, April 27, 2026, the collection takes OluKai’s bestselling ‘Ohana sandal and gives it a playful twist. Same easygoing, beach-ready build, just with a lot more personality this time around.

There are two designs here, and both feel like inside jokes for anyone who gets it.

The Musubi Edition is exactly what it sounds like. Textured straps and color blocking inspired by a classic SPAM musubi. We’re talking rice, nori, and that unmistakable slice of SPAM brought to life on your feet. It’s weirdly specific and kind of brilliant.

Then there’s the Heritage Colorway, which goes full nostalgia. Bright blue and yellow, straight from the iconic SPAM can. You’ll either love it immediately or do a double-take, maybe both.

Underneath all that fun, it’s still the same ‘Ohana sandal people swear by. Water-resistant straps, quick-drying lining, and that cushioned footbed that makes you forget you’re basically wearing flip-flops.

They’re priced at $80, available in both men’s and women’s sizing, and will be sold through OluKai stores and their website.

And I don’t know why, but I can totally picture Steve McGarrett OG version, that wavy hair catching the breeze as he turns, rocking these nifty sandals with a subtle grin like he knows something the rest of us don’t.

Not every collab needs to make sense on paper. Sometimes it just needs to make you smile, and this one definitely does.
