Oh, you didn’t know: NASA marked a significant milestone in space exploration by honoring John Glenn’s pioneering feat as the first American to partake in a meal beyond Earth’s atmosphere. This momentous occasion saw Glenn indulging in puréed beef infused with vegetables, which he squeezed out from an aluminum tube, among a selection of other delectable offerings. This celebration not only underscored Glenn’s groundbreaking journey but also highlighted the innovative strides taken to make space travel more comfortable and nourishing for astronauts.
